Dr. Bhanu R. Neupane is trained in Hydrosystems, Water Resources Management and Knowledge Management. He has a PhD in water resources management from Canada and a second Doctorate degree in Business Administration from the International School of Management, France/USA. He joined UNESCO as a Programme Specialist in 2000 and served with the UN system-wide World Water Assessment Programme (WWAP). He was transferred to the UNESCO Office in New Delhi in September 2004, where he was made responsible for the implementation of the International Hydrological Programme and the preparation and design of regional projects and activities on hydrology and water resources. Currently he is working for UNESCO as a Programme Manager for ICT and Sciences and Open Access to Scientific Research. He is also working in the area of Open Data, essentially to improve and increase access to scientific data and information. He is also a visiting professor and regularly teaches courses related to knowledge Management, Multi-criteria Decision-Making, Water Resources management, and Disaster Risk Reduction at Universities.

 Natalia Manola is a research associate in the University of Athens, Department of Informatics and Telecommunications and the Athena Technology and Innovation Research Center. She holds a Physics degree from the University of Athens, and an MS in Electrical and Computing Engineering from the University of Wisconsin at Madison, USA. She has several years of employment as a Software Engineer and Architect employed in the Bioinformatics sector. From 2009 she has served as the  director of OpenAIRE (www.openaire.eu), a key EC e-Infrastructure supporting open access and open science in scholarly communication. She is also currently  coordinating OpenMinTeD (www.openminted.eu) a H2020 project on Text and Data Mining for scientific literature and has been selected to serve on EC's Open Science Policy Platform. Her research interests include the topics of e-Infrastructures development and management, scientific data management, data curation and validation, complex data visualization, open science policies.
 

Panos Constantopoulos is professor in the Department of Informatics and dean of the School of Information Sciences and Technology, Athens University of Economics and Business. He is also affiliated with the Institute for the Management of Information Systems of the “Athena” Research Centre, where he heads the Digital Curation Unit. He has previously been professor and chairman in the Department of Computer Science, University of Crete, and head of the Information Systems Laboratory and the Centre for Cultural Informatics at the Institute of Computer Science, Foundation for Research and Technology - Hellas. Visiting professor at the Université de Paris – Sud, the Conservatoire National des Arts et Metiers and the University of Toronto, visiting director of research (CNRS) at the Université de Paris – Sud, and visiting scientist at the IBM T.J. Watson Research Center and the Operations Research Center, MIT. His scientific interests include: digital curation and preservation, knowledge representation and conceptual modelling, ontology engineering, semantic information access, decision support and knowledge management systems, cultural informatics and digital libraries.

 Dr. Krasen Stefanov is a Professor at the Faculty of Mathematics and Informatics, Director of the Centre for Information Society Technologies and Head of the Laboratory for Information Services. He has strong background in Technology Enhanced Learning, Serious Games, Semantic Based Knowledge Systems, Digital Libraries and Repositories. He has long experience in participating in more than 20 EC RTD projects and has more than 90 publications.
  Gita Seņka - Master of Arts in culture and media management. Project coordinator in diverse life long learning subjects  since 1998, participation in more than 20 EU projects, working with project promotion and further exploitation issues. Lecturer of projects management, production management and culture marketing subjects in Latvia Culture college. Author of number of publications in field of creative industries, digital content development,  culture marketing and music management.
